GlitchedWaves Records began as a promo channel, born out of a simple frustration: talented independent artists were getting buried while promotion stayed locked behind paywalls and gatekeeping.
Today GlitchedWaves operates as a free promotional home for glitch-leaning electronic music — publishing curated releases across our channels and helping producers reach listeners without paying a cent. We're a promoter, not a record label: artists submit finished tracks for promotion, they don't sign away rights to us.
Every track keeps its own copyright status. A small share of the catalog is marked Free for use in the title, meaning the artist has agreed to let others use it in YouTube videos without monetization claims — everything else is promoted under standard copyright and isn't cleared for reuse. The team behind it listens to every submission personally, checking each track against the catalog's sound and clearance standards before it goes anywhere near a release schedule.
